Orange Toes 🦎

Hello to all, 

Just spent hours looking for this. I knew I had made an animated 

lizard with orange toes and spots down his back. I used to own a blue 

lizard with orange spots when we lived in Anchorage, Alaska. Because 

of owning this one, I decided to draw him, color and animate him.

Luna Moths

Hi all, 

While walking in our backyard the other day, I seen this and just had to take a picture. 

The first pic I think is a male.

The male I think. His color is different.

The female behind the other one.

This shot or pic is of the other side of the leaf they were hanging on. 

I think that is the female.

They hung there all day and left sometime during the night. 

They were gone the next day. 

I was so happy to see them, they are so pretty.

📿Boho and paper beads

Hello to all, 

I have some pictures of the beads I have made so far. This is more fun and addicting habit to get into.

Then I got crazy and made a huge batch of paper beads. I still have to finish them 

and then they will be ready to add to bookmarks and other things.

So, has anyone else out there made these? They are fun and will look very nice when 

finished.

🦝 In the heat of the night 🦝

Morning to all, 

When things show change on your back porch, you know what 

to expect when you set the trap. Yep! That is right, Raccoon. He or 

she tore down the temp gauge, turned over things on porch and tore 

down one bird feeder and emptied both of any food overnight.

So here is what we found this morning.

He had a lovely meal of two cans of tuna.

Cactus "red" flowering 🥀

Hello to all, 

I found this on my upper deck. This is the first time it has 

flowered since we left Alaska. The plant is covered in buds. 

Makes me happy. 😍

We left AK. back in 2011. So that is a long long time with no 

flowers. It always seemed to put on buds while in the house, 

but they never developed to flower before they dropped off. 

All it needed was a lot of sun and hot temps to make it happy. 

Right now, it is on our upper deck outside, where the green 

house roofing is located.

Serger Quilt Fun 😍

Hello to all, 

I had a lot of fun making this quilt. I used my serger putting the front and 

the back together with batting all in one step. It was fun and FAST. I loved 

this so much I will try to make a larger one. This one was done when we 

were in Alaska. I had a small porch swing. Our swing set now here in W.V. 

is much larger, so I will have to get to work on making this new one. 

The back also looks just like the front; each block has embroidery on it. 

I just surged the edges of the quilt as you go, and you are done.

Halloween Placemats 🎃

Hello to all, 

I have made 4 placemats using my scraps. I got a kick out of doing them. 

I had fun playing around with different things, Now I want to start making some 

for Thanksgiving.

Dog Quilts 🐩🐕

Hello everyone, 

I started this in Ohio, but we moved, so now I can start work on them 

again. I have about 8 or 12 large 9 blocks stitched up with an applique 

angel on the center one, I have yet to stitch up the rest of the quilt. I 

will hunt a place around here to see if they have "no kill" shelter for 

dogs and cats.

What I had in mind making these, it that for some dogs who are scared 

and feeling lonely, they need a "pick me up" quilt so they can cuttle up 

with it or sit or lay on it. Something just for them, that can go with them 

when they find a forever home. They are washable and have nothing on 

them that could hurt them. Here is just one pic of what they are like.

I am sure they will enjoy getting a little something just for them alone.

Blue Jean Rag Quilt 🫡

Hello all, 

I have stitched up my first rag quilt. I used blue jean material. On every other 

block is an embroidery design. It is hand tied on every other block. I had fun 

making this, buy have not yet washed it. That will be done at a laundry mat. 

The designs were whatever I had on hand that was small and not overstitched.

Both sides have the embroidery on it. This was done on my serger called Quil as

you go. So, when you stitched up one block it was complete front and back.

🦷 Front filling on tooth 🦷🤬

Hello all, 

On the 29th of April 2026, I had lost a front filling in my tooth. I went to 

the dentist, they took an x-ray to see everything. I told a short story 

as to my fall over the little cliff. They checked the tooth with the "cold" 

and then the "coldest" cold they had on the tooth and I felt nothing. 

I knew I was worried that my upper teeth were still numb feeling and sure 

enough, the tooth was "dead". They drilled the tooth to perp for another 

filling. I felt nothing while she worked on the tooth. 

Folks, that is the first time in my life of having a tooth drilled with no 

pain medicine.

I know to be careful with the teeth that I think are dead, from the accident. 

I hope they do not have to be crowned.  Way too much money now days.

The front filling was over 400.00 dollars. 

Can you think how much a crown would cost???
