Happy 50th Anniversary yesterday

Happy days,

This new plant made it to flowering on our 50th anniversary yesterday.
Love this plant.

Flowered on our 50th anniversary.

We had a steak dinner for supper.
I can hardly believe we have been married for 50 years.

Raccoon 🦝

Hello to all,

We have a second half-grown raccoon again. There might be more, depending on
how many they had. Mom and Dad show all the babies where to go and get cat food
and water. Once again, the water and food bowls were dirty. This one hissed and
growled at me.

My baby doves-flew to new home 🕊️

Morning everyone,

Yesterday, a nice couple visited my baby doves and took them home.
My little doves found their forever home. I am so happy.
Their new mom and dad will keep me posted as to how they are doing and send pictures of them.
This makes me very happy.

Doves 8-1-25 off to new home.

They were born in the last week of June 2025. 🕊️

Raccoon day again 🦝

Good morning,

Here we have a young half-grown raccoon, which could be one of many to stop by.

Today and yesterday were cooler than most of the summer. Feels good.

Possum Day ♻️

Hello everyone,

Today, with all the heat and humidity, along comes a possum.
Another big fat possum crossed the boundaries of our home.

🦝 Another big raccoon 🦝

Morning everyone, 🦝

Well, here it is, another day of the raccoons. This one is huge, much larger than some of
the other varmints. He must have eaten more of the cat food or eaten some plants where I
just water and feed them. 🤣💕

We are all doing ok. Vince mowed the lawn yesterday. With this new mower, it seems to cut
much faster, and Vince is not worn out like before. I will get a video of him on
the monster and put here when done.

Chickens are all ok, and the rooster is still loving and so friendly. We and the hens love him.

Raccoon visitor 🦝

Morning everyone, 🦝

Well, I just knew that there was "a thing" that turned over the cat's water bowl two nights ago.
Another visitor last night. This one even removed the cover over the cage in case it rained.
I am learning that they don't roam around when it rains.

The Accident - One year later

Hello all,

Well, one year later, I am still here, and all healed up for the most part.

Still have things on the face that are not quite right. My nose still feels numb, and my sense of smell is not right yet. My left eye socket is still numb to the touch even though it itches a lot. My neck and head (where they come together) are still not right; it hurts every day. Some days are worse than others. It feels like a bucket of cement is sitting on my head, same feeling when I step into a shower, heavy weight on my head, makes my neck hurt. My mouth (upper) teeth are still numb, and my sense of taste is still not there. I am surprised by how much the sense of taste makes us feel full and happy after a meal. I eat and can't taste most of what I eat. My mouth feels like I am trying to chew something like wood instead of food. I chew my cheeks all the time, have to eat very slowly, and be mindful of my cheeks. I NEVER chewed my cheeks like I do now. The doctor who did the face re-do of broken areas said he had to re-break by mouth to put me back together again.  Some of my upper teeth have been pushed in toward the inside of my mouth, where they never were before. He gave me an edge-to-edge bite at the front of my mouth that I have never had in my life. So, it is like eating with someone else's mouth; you can't feel it. The teeth are still numb on the upper, and I feel that they may be dead. Which means somewhere in the future, I may have to have some teeth crowned to save them.

My left leg, where the huge tear in the leg was, is still numb to the touch, where two huge holes were punched over the knee. My left leg still has a stretch of flesh that is numb from the knee almost to the hip.

But thank God I am alive and can still walk up and down our steep hill of a yard. I can do all of what I did before the accident.  Thank you, Jesus,

Love and Prayers,
 Margo
