Hello to all,
Today was the 3rd day we had a "visitor" that ate the cat food and dirty
his water bowl again. So we took care of that. 🦝🪦
The nights for about a week now have been in the 30s to 40s. That is
getting "nippy" out there. We have now got the chickens all winterized
which means fresh ceder chips in coop and fresh hay in the covered
area. They even wait until it gets warmer outside before they come out.
I have a good idea why. The rooster has ridden my hens so much, they
do not have any feathers on their backs. Not funny! Plus, the water is heated.
The cat we don't own, who owns us, has a heated water bowl and a heated
dog kennel with a sleeping bag rolled up for him to curl up in on cold nights, also
has a break from the wind.
